The key point in the story is;
The touching holes were shot from a "lead sled"  shooting rest,  making about 90 percent of the shots,  the work of the rifle.  :-(
The bright point being,  these are older guns.  The somewhat dimmer point being,  once I picked up the guns and shoulder fired them,  it was a much different story.  :-(
Now I know the guns will do their job,  it will be up to me to try to win a couple of rounds of the Turkey Shoot.  :-)</description>
