*I believe, Bill and Hillary are just bad for this country, any way you look at it. Obama, most likely has a good heart, he’s just misdirected. Which goes for the majority of our presidential candidates. I believe John McCain is the best of our poor choices at this time.
*I believe, Dr. Ignatius Piazza, of FrontSight Firearms Training Institute, want’s a whole lot more from me and you, than just to give us free firearms training, (and now a free handgun)
*In todays world, words have become nearly useless. (I suppose that means this blog is useless, other than a medium for me to track my thoughts) There is no way, to confirm the meaning of words, and no immediate way to confirm the written word. The result of this, and today’s society results in “words” more often than not, being false. Some are out and out LIES, others are from committed, caring, but uninformed people, spouting their newest false beliefs.
*I believe, Our Constitution and Bill of Rights, were written by committed and driven people, who actually experienced the horrors that those documents were written to prevent in our newly formed country. I believe, no, I’m very confident, that our Constitution and Bill of Rights still exist, exactly as they were originally written over 200 years ago.
*I believe, (getting into touchy ground here), that our religeous documents, (examples: Bible, Koran), have been spoken, then written, and rewritten, many many times over our span of history. Each time, being changed.
*I believe, in a higher power, God if you will. I also believe it’s possible that this higher power has grown tired of our bickering, wars, lying, etc, etc. I hope he/she/it, is watching, but believe that “God” has left us to our own devices. Possibly waiting to decide whether we can bring this existance around, or it’s time to reboot the whole thing and start over.
*I believe, in the First Ammendment, but, I believe, news sources, people who falsely yell “FIRE” in a crowd, polititions, corporations, world leaders, etc, should be held accountable for spewing false information, or telling out right lies to further their agenda’s.
*I believe, the foundation of our law, should be based on the Constitution and Bill of Rights, and Supreme Courts Justices should be chosen with that in mind.
*I believe, A legally armed society, is a polite society.
*I believe, our Great Lakes, Lake Michigan, Lake Superior, and Lake Huron, are in trouble. I believe that the powers who have been created to protect them, have not been doing their jobs.
*I believe, Global Warming is a very large Global Hoax. There is evidence that can be twisted to support the theory, and hundreds of people have jumped on the evidence, to further their own ends. I believe changes are happening in our weather, but some of them are cyclic, and other’s are, as yet, not fully explained.
I believe, the NRA, is good for our political system, and our rights. I also believe, that the NRA wants a lot more from me, than my membership dues.

Rain and more Rain. It started early this morning with freezing rain, then warmed all day long to the current 6:30pm temp. of 43 degree’s. (The rain never stopped) The wind came in out of nowhere, about 4 pm, and is now gusting at around 28mph. There’s about 12 inches of slush ontop of what ever ice is left on the river. A snowmobile went downriver with ice fishing gear about 3:30pm, but it looked more like a motorboat, with the wave of slush he was pushing.
