Hah, I used my government issued digital tv card to by a digital TV converter today at Walmart. Guess What? I get the same number of channels over digital (0ver the air) TV, as I get on Analog (over the air) TV. ZERO!
Oh well, I guess I’ll alway’s have the thing, should someone ever decide to put in a broadcasting station we can receive.
My latest opinion of EBAY is, they are still cheating! I tried a few bids before they banned guns, and was very unhappy with the results. When they banned guns, I promptly deleted my account. A week or so ago, in a moment of weakness, while wishing for new fishing lures for spring, I created a new Ebay account and have been running bids on various fishing lures. All I can say is, IF THESE AUCTIONS AREN’T RIGGED, THEN EBAY HAS A REAL PROBLEM WITH THE TECHNOLOGY THEY’RE USING TO RUN THE AUCTIONS. Not to mention some of the bidder’s I’m running into, live somewhere way outside of reality. Items auctioning close to double what they can be purchased for, are not uncommon!
There are NO happy Ebay customers on this end of the cable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The latest edition of Imprimis, has an article by William Tucker, making a very good case for the use of Nuclear Energy in the USA. Definately worth a read, even if you’re not interested, you will probably learn a lot!

Bottom Line: When dealing with Nuclear Power, one must do things correctly.
The US produces 50 percent of it’s electricity from Coal, A MAJOR CONTRIBUTION TO GLOBAL WARMING.
Natural Gas, is the cleanest form of Energy. We have comparibly limited supplies. Russia and the Middle East have basically unlimited supplies of Natural Gas. The former Soviet Union, China, India, and Europe, has access to a boundless supply of cheap, clean energy in Natural Gas.
