AuGres River mini-report
The weather’s been pretty threatening for the past few day, so we’ve been doing some river fishing. A few Catfish, a couple small Pike, and one lone 17 in. Walleye.
There’s alway’s something out there just itchin’ to steal the bait off your hook,, and I’d estimate we’re hooking about 1 fish, per 5 worms/crawlers. It’s just a bit frustrating, and I’ve tried a lot of inovative ways of hooking the worms, but to no avail. They can often clean off the hook, without the slightest jiggle to the line.
