A sea (or Bay that is) of glass
The Bay was almost like glass today, and if it hadn’t been for boat traffic, I expect it would have been.
We hammered away at the Walleye again, using every trick (or lie, what ever) that anyone has suggested. About six hours worth got us two keepers, a 17 incher and 18 incher. Oh, yeah, and we threw back another Sheepshead. Getting closer to that fish fry.
P.S. The Sheepshead and smaller Walleye were caught using a 2 ounce inline sinker followed by a crawler rig, in about 40 feet of water. The larger Walleye fell for a 2 ounce bottom bouncer, trailing a crawler rig, in about 36 feet of water. As usually, we marked a lot of fish, just couldn’t get them to bite.
