It’s been hot, and I’ve been out of town
Slow posting of late, besides being very busy, I’ve just returned from a short vacation. No TV, No Radio, No Internet, and not even a newspaper.
Now it’s time to get down to business. I hear the Walleye are still biting good out in the deeper water, so getting the ol’ Searay wet is a strong priority. (there’s also finishing our garage painting project, but fishing sounds like more fun)
One of the first things I heard on the Boob tube, after I returned from the vacation, was that Governor Jennie, has received her worst approval rating EVER! Wow, are citizens starting to wake up or what??
I heard one of Jennie’s defender’s try to explain it away by offerring the following statement: ” people just don’t understand how hard it is for an incoming Governor to turn a state around, after the previous Gov. ruins the economy”.
I think that shows just how deeply some liberal Democrats, have their heads buried in the sand. Wake up you idiot! Granholm is in her second term!! She’s only following up on her own mistakes! (why can a furiner be Governor anyway??) It’s time to turn this state around and get us back in the game, Jennie just doesn’t have a clue how to do it. Raising taxes is the only solution she seems to be able to come up with.
The starting day of my vacation, I pumped $105 worth of regular gas into my truck. Gasoline was the most expensive thing I did on the vacation, and we weren’t that far from homebase. (because of gas prices) Why is it that I can’t seem to find even one politition who’s concerned about that????
And, on the subject of gasoline and boating: If you need a place to park your boat, there’s plenty of room here on Saginaw Bay. I can count the number of boats docked uptown, on one hand and the storage lot’s all look like they do on the 1st of November. Maybe that’s why there are still so many Walleye,,,, way fewer people are out fishing for them!!
