Jeep trivia
The first Jeep was built 10 years before I was born.
I was 23 years old when I bought my first (new) Jeep.
To me, a Jeep will aways be a Willy’s or CJ-3 thru CJ-5.
I owned my first Jeep, and a few others, for 29 years.
The ultimate Jeep for me, was the 1974 CJ-5, sporting a small block V-8 breathing through Custom Equipt. Headers, with Detroit Locker’s front and rear, pulling 33X15 Armstrong offroad tires on 10 inch rims. (dating my self a bit, eh?)
A lot of good memories in those old Jeeps!

Yay Jeeps! Lockers and big wide tires would be nice…. They made 10″ rims?
I have a 87 YJ that is great for the summer months. Of late though, I have been abusing my 93 Cherokee, making weekly trips to the mounds and running the trails and hills. The YJ’s front end is getting welded together and the Cherokee may get a lockright locker in the rear (some day when I have $200 extra dollars)
Great stress relief…..

I can remember seeing 12 inch wide wheels, but 10 was about the limit for the Armstrongs we used back then. The 10’s had just enough offset to get the big tires to clear the inner fenders. (had to bend them (inner fenders that is) just a bit in front to be able to turn)
Who knows, If I was to run across a nice little Jeep again? Would be kind fun running back roads up here in the summer time.

I’d say I’d sell you mine, but NO!
My brother-in-law is selling a 95 Sahara with a 350 in it for $3500ish. No rust, no lift.
