WartHog’s over Saginaw Bay

WartHog’s over Saginaw Bay

We’ve been having nearly weekly, low, high speed flyover’s by what appears to be armed A10 Warthog’s .  They are usually going northwest to southeast,  and sometimes circle back over Au Gres.  There are at least two,  usually three of them in a wide spaced formation,   at least one usually goes directly over my house and pretty much seems to be following the AuGres river out to the Bay.  They are going very FAST,  and are very low!   I’ve tried getting info online,   but there doesn’t seem to be anything available.    I  did find an article saying that A10’s out of Selfridge would be flying in Genesee county though?

It’s quite a sight to see one of these baby’s skimming the treetops over your house.

These are, without a doubt, the most awesome planes I have ever seen. I watched them many a time over the course of my last two work details out in Arizona. I would love to see these planes featured, and kicking-butt, in a really good sci-fi movie. As for reality, it is nice to know they are on our side and that they were not taken out of service as had been planned some years back.

    All the best,

I just wish I could have found something online about what they’re doing? We’ve had them fly over us in the Bay while fishing, and often get a wing wag, if we wave at them.
