Another real small report

A few more days of 50 + degree, sunny weather,  and still the ice on the river is solid enough for a few ice shanties  to still be in place.   It looks pretty rotten,  and I haven’t checked it’s thickness lately.  From the mouth of the Au Gres looking out over the Bay,  it looks like ice all the way across,  not good ice,  but ice.  North of Whitestone Point is open water.
