Lou Dobbs quits CNN

This quote pretty much sums up the network news.

“Unfortunately, these issues are now defined in the public arena by partisanship and ideology rather than rigorous empirical thought and forthright analysis and discussion”

Congratulations Mr. Dobbs,  I haven’t been able to stomach CNN for years.

So far, not as good

On Oct. 28th I posted “So Far So Good” , stating that so far I hadn’t been sick this fall.

Well,  that has changed a bit,  over the weekend a little twinge in my throat, turn into a full fledged sore throat, which has progressed to a burning,  runny nose and a bit of tightness in my chest.   This progression has caused me to miss out on the nicest two day’s we had this fall.

Hopefully,  it will pass soon.  I’m currently sipping a small glass of James Buchanan’s “Black and White”.  (Scotch)  Which has my chest feeling nicely warmed.   I don’t know if there’s any scientific evidence to prove it,  but it sure seems like a good Scotch should kill any stray germs in one mouth and throat.  Two days sick,  hoping the progression stops and I wake up well in the morning.

P.S.  I found this site today,  Interesting Information for spirit sippers.
