Two faced, bottom dealin’ , skunks in the grass!

Anyone reading this blog regularly understands that I’m not happy with Obama as President.   There are many reasons,  but the ones that hit home the hardest are some of the biggest.

Obama makes a big deal of spouting off about how everyone will have health insurance.  Well let’s look a how he’s doing.      A few months back, we heard that our vision and dental coverage were going away,   and every couple of weeks,  our medical Co-pay goes up.  Now our drug Co-pays have doubled,  and many drugs,  and treatments are no longer covered.

You ask;   Where does Obama come into this?

Answer, in todays letter from the UAW detailing the retiree’s health coverage losses:

I quote the letter:  “the membership recently ratified Modifications to the 2007 UAW General Motors Agreement, and an addendum to the agreement estatblishing the VEBA Trust for retiree health care that met the terms of the loan agreement IMPOSED by the GOVERNMENT”.

“In the terms of the loan agreement, modification were required by the government, which will impact the General Motors retiree health care plan”.

Out of one side of his mouth,  he say’s he’s going to get “the people” good affordable health care.  Out of the other side,  he takes a big bite out of MY health care!!!

NOTE:  I do not hold the UAW without fault in this.  As stated before,  it’s a very poor organization (and government) that throws it elders,  (white collar and blue) to the wolves to insure themselves a bit of comfort.   And since the UAW pushed so hard to get Obama elected,   I hold them equally responsible.
