And back to Global Warming?
Since, here, near the middle of June, our furnace still runs on a near daily basis, when we go to bed, I turn the thermostat down to about 58 degree’s. Last night, at Midnight, I was awoken by the furnace kicking on. Getting up to investigate, I noted that the temperature in the house was 56 degrees and the outside temp. was 48 degrees. Yesterday’s high was 52 degrees. IN THE MIDDLE OF JUNE! Today we’re seeing 53 degrees with lots of wind and rain.
That’s the way the weather has been going this year. From an extremely cold winter, to a cold spring, and now a very cold early summer. Note the key word “COLD“.

It’s been unseasonably cool. That’s been nice for home a.c. bills but not sure how it’s going to effect the veggies planted.
But after a spell of minus 10 or so this winter I’m not going to complain. At least I don’t have to check for polar bears in the back 40.

We had a similar cold spell this winter, actually a really long cold spell. We didn’t get much of the minus 10, but there sure was a lot of below zero and high winds.
