Obama’s Birth Certificate?

With multiple lawsuites asking for proof of Obama’s citizenship,  (so far all being thrown out of court),  I ask:

What is so special and secretive about this particular President Elect’s Birth Certificate?  Why doesn’t he just go on a news program, and produce the thing for inspection,  and get it over with, so he can get on to more serious things.
