First off, Jabu at Bad Bad JuJu . Thanks to Jim at Smoke on the Water.

Jabu pretty much cover’s most of my recent Random thoughts.  I can add:

O’bama and his call for Imus to be fired,  I’d like to see O’bama fired.

Imus,  a jerk to be sure,  but I have to question why he get’s singled out?  It’s not like every “Rapper” doesn’t make similar disrespectful and hurtful statements daily.  Michelle Malkin cover’s it very nicely with Imus vs. the Billboard Hot Rap Tracks Chart.

Michelle also does great coverage of the supposed Duke Rape case “No attack occurred“.

Ruger 10/22 and a BIG scope

I got ambitious this afternoon and installed the Tech-Force 3X to 12X, 40mm scope on my old Ruger 10/22 carbine.  (It never worked right on the air gun,  so I though I’d give it one more chance at a useful life).

That big scope looks a little odd on top of that little Ruger,  but I know the Ruger is a good shooter.  So if the scope won’t hold it’s point of aim on the .22,  I guess we can assume it’s truely a piece of crap.  (I don’t really have a lot of hope for it).

Carolyn McCarty and her 33 co-conspirators should be thrown out of office for prosposing this unconstitutional P.O.S.  (H.R.1022 Assault Weapons and Law Enforcement protection act of 2007)

Be sure to look over the full text, to understand the outrage of this proposed bill.

Even the venerable old M1 Carbine and the Ruger Mini-14 are to be banned,  specifically and by name!!!!
