mini river report (Suckers)

The Sucker run is on at Omer!  The Rifle gave up  about 10 per hour on Friday (between three fisherpeople).  The weather is cooling and the run is expected to slow down a bit,  but the “carnival” is in full swing on the weekends.

The Au Gres has slowed down a bit and cleared up considerably.  It’s producing a few Sucker’s and an occasional Steelhead.  Early boater’s are pulling in Walleye out past the mouth of the river, (at this point they’re off limits in the river).

Reminder: If you plan to buy hunting and fishing licenses this year,  do it soon, before the price increase takes affect.  They are currently still available at last years rate.
