A mistake almost made

When I purchased the DPMS I had pretty much decided to trade off the old Remington Model 81 that Dad left me.  It’s heavy and only holds 4 rounds in the fixed box magazine.

Low and behold, I then ran across this article at www.survival.com .

Thanks to them,  it’s position will be secure in my gun safe.

Habeas Corpus, not for feriner’s

The following is a good example of why Mr. du Toit has more readers than I do.

”1. Habeas corpus can be suspended only for furriners—ie. terrorists apprehended either overseas or in the United States. In other words, not only can we try by military tribunal terrorists captured overseas, but also terrorists captured in these here United States. The right of habeas corpus still applies to all U.S. citizens—so Olberman et al. are talking crap when they imply that habeas corpus has been suspended in the general sense: it’s only been suspended for furriners accused of waging illegal war against us.

To sum up, therefore:

1. This instance does not fall into the 1% of occasional truth uttered by Lefty commentators like Olbermann and Hentoff.
2. Not even the Lefty commentators can call Congress’s passage of this law a “strictly partisan vote”.
3. The United States can now pursue the War Against Terrorists as an actual war, and not as law enforcement.”

Let’s hope they do just that and get this thing finished!

Habeas Corpus

It has been brought to my attention:

The death of habeas corpus

Olbermann: ‘The president has now succeeded where no one has before’.

It got me going for a while,  then I got around to actually watching the Olbermann video.

It looks to me like,  If I decide to be a terrorist,  I can forget about using Habeas Corpus to slow down my trial.  Ohh Phooey, there go all my plans to be the next O-Samy.

Anyway,  after watching the video, I’m fairly confident that I’m not anymore prone to government haraasment that I was before this bill was signed.

Looks like another attempt to stir up shit by the liberal media!

Seven BAD choices, upcoming election

Kennedy, Clinton, Pelosi, Conyers, Kerry, Feinstien, Schumer:

Moving the political career of any of these seven forward,  is the first step to;

  • Renewed and new gun control laws
  • The U.N. taking control of the American way of life
  • The banning of hunting and gun ownership
  • The downfall of the Constitution and Bill of Rights, as we know it
  • Higher taxes
  • Less National Security
  • Ratifiying the agenda of George Soros, and the United Nations
  • Gutting the Supreme Court

The NRA-PFV gives Debbie Stabenaw an F and Mike Bouchard an A.

Terry Lynn Land and Mike Cox also get an A.

Jim Barcia,  Democrat,  District 31  also get’s a A.

Bart Stupak (D), Dave Camp (R) both get A’s.

Granholm get’s a B-, and Devos get’s an A.   Jennie has been (sort of ) Ok,  but maybe it’s time for a change.

There are plenty of A rated politicians to vote for,  (contact me if you don’t know your polititions rating).

Don’t be lulled into skipping this election.  It is very, very important to the continuation of the rights of gun owners, hunters, and sportsmen.

Consider this official statement by the United Nations:

“”Self Defense,  is a privilege that governments may choose to grant or withdraw.  You have NO HUMAN RIGHT TO SELF DEFENSE.  If a government does not impose repressive restrictions on gun ownership – more severe than even the laws of New York City, or Washington DC- then that government is guilty of violating international human rights.“”

Now I don’t know about you,  but the above statement, is about the most alien thing I’ve ever heard stated or printed.  NOT IN THE USA,, NOT NOW,  NOT NEVER!!!!!!!!!
